When editing your campaign, a secondary menu will appear displaying all of the aspects you can configure for the campaign, on this article we’ll focus on the ‘Advanced Tracking’ tab.
Advanced Tracking
On the Advanced Tracking page you can guide potential clients from specific countries to designated landing pages to allow you to utilize a targeted marketing strategy.
With our advanced tracking feature, you’ll be able to:
- Show different landing pages to clients based on their country while using the same exact affiliate link
- Test multiple landing pages with the option to control the odds of displaying each page
- Add tracking parameters (macros) to landing pages for specific countries
- Optimize your marketing strategy based on the gathered information from the A/B testing and geo targeting for more efficient and successful reach
Title
Add a relevant title for the specific landing page, for example if you’re adding a landing page that is targeting customers from Italy, you can all it “Italy landing page”
Tracking URL
Here you enter the desired landing page to which you can optionally add tracking parameters. For example if you’re doing A/B testing you can add utm_source=A and this parameter can be passed with the conversion so that you can analyze which landing page generates more conversions
Weight (Optional)
When doing A/B testing you can set a weight to a landing page to increase the odds of the customers reaching it over the other landing page.
Countries (Optional)
If the landing page is for specific countries, select these countries here.
Affilaite (Optional)
You can select specific affiliates to have the advanced tracking rules you set, work only for their affiliate URL and not others.
