When editing your campaign, a secondary menu will appear displaying all of the aspects you can configure for the campaign, on this article we’ll focus on the ‘Multi Level Marketing’ tab.
Multi Level Marketing
On this tab, you can setup campaign-specific MLM structure and commissions.

Tracknow allows you to enable MLM on 3 sections:
- Affiliate personal MLM
- Campaign MLM (This is what the MLM tab when editing a campaign is responsible for)
- Company MLM
All 3 sections can be enabled simultaneously, however, they have different priorities that can override one another.
Let’s explain this with an example:
I run an affiliate program and I want to use MLM.
I create my first campaign and my affiliates can recruit other affiliates and earn commissions for their sales as well.
Since I predict that I will use MLM on future campaigns as well, I enable MLM in the company settings so that the MLM settings will be applied to all campaigns.
I created another campaign but I want to set different MLM commissions from my first campaign, if I change these settings in the company MLM, the settings for the first campaign will also change because company MLM applies to all campaigns. I can adjust the MLM commissions for this specific campaign by enabling campaign MLM and adjusting the commissions there, the campaign MLM will override the company MLM.
Now let’s say I have a top performing affiliate under the second campaign that I want to reward with higher commissions from his MLM hierarchy. I can set up personal MLM settings in the affiliate’s manage page and these MLM commissions will only be applied to this affiliate.
Personal MLM overrides both campaign MLM and company MLM.
