As an admin, you have access to various settings that can affect the affiliate’s portal.
One of those settings is changing texts and terminology.
For example, if we look at the affiliate’s dashboard below, we can see that one of his metrics is
‘Commissions’. Let’s say that your company only rewards affiliates with a revenue sharing payout model and you’d like to swap the word ‘Commissions’ to ‘Revenue share’.
You can easily accomplish that by using Tracknow’s ‘Translation Management’ section.
How to?
- Login to your admin dashboard
- Click the ‘Settings’ button on the main menu
- Scroll down to the ‘Customize’ section on the secondary menu and select ‘Translation Management’
- On this table you are able to see each phrase or text as a ‘Translation Key’ and its translation and phrasing in each language. Let’s change the ‘Commissions’ text to ‘Revenue Share’.
First, let’s find the translation key for the ‘Commissions’ text by clicking the ‘⠇’ icon next to ‘Translation Key’ column header - Enter the word ‘commissions’ in the filter value and the table will update by showing all texts or phrases containing the word.
- Now double click on the word under the language you’d like to edit and change the phrasing.
In this example we are changing the English phrasing from ‘Commissions’ to ‘Revenue share’ and click ‘SAVE’.
Now if we go back to the affiliate’s dashboard, we can see that the text changed accordingly.
